NC State Fight Song mix recording!

I spent the last 3 days with Airiel Down in the studio recording a rock version of the Fight Song and the Red and White Song for NC State!
Edit: I had to take the song down until it’s premiered in full quality at the first State game next month. Plus side is the mastered audio will be in it next time! Go State!

I was archiving some old photos onto some backup discs and came across a handful of really old photos. It’s fun to look back sometime and see how much you’ve grown!
Don’t mind the lousy looking “OTW Photo” logo on some, that was right before FTB came to fruition when I was operating under “One Thousand Words Photography”. Ah, how young I was!

I love the Tobacco Factory now, but back before most of the renovations, I loved it even more!

Fade To Black ventures back out of state. With many projects in full swing, we are taking a week to mix business with pleasure as we spend time in New York City and South Florida. Many photos will be taken, many videos will be shot. Faith is up in NYC shooting promotional material for a band we worked with earlier in the year, photos will be on the way shortly.

Video for the Airiel Down Meymandi show is looking great! I plan on having some more videos fully edited and up on this site within 2 weeks.

Here’s a nice little trailer for the DVD we have planned. It will feature Airiel Down’s set in its entirety, as well as some of the opening acts, interviews with the band, photos, and more.
We’re aiming for a solid 5.1 mix, but thats TBD at the moment.

The Airiel Down show went swimmingly- despite having a twisted foot and hobbling around during all 12 hours of filming!
While we await the rest of the footage to be compiled, I have pieced together a few clips to soothe some of the appetite for this beautiful event.
Here is opening act Mary Jennings, with her rendition of the infamous “Umbrella” by Rihanna
Next is Airiel Down’s cover of “Going To California” by Led Zeppelin
More will be available at a later date when the other cameras are acquired. Stay tuned!
